A Community Visual Art Exhibition by children and youths from CATCH+ Plus

This art exhibition features over 50 artworks created by more than 15 children and youths who have been attending the monthly Art ALIVE! Programme at CATCH Plus+, since January 2019.   The CHILDREN AND TEENS COMMUNITY HUB PLUS (CATCH Plus+) is a holistic activities programme for children from low-income families in Jalan Kukoh, under the Kreta Ayer-Kim Seng Constituency. Facilitated by art therapists and volunteers from Living Streams TTC, Art ALIVE! aims to build confidence and boost self-image of the participants by encouraging them to express themselves creatively through a variety of arts and craft-making workshops.  Over the course of 12 sessions, the participants explored various themes close to their heart, such as their favourite animals and colours, their dreams and aspirations and translate them into beautiful and personal work of art, using different mediums, from clay sculptures, to collage, crafts and paintings.
